Quick life/work update - this week is all about getting my new office painted, decorated and looking sparkling ready for my first full-time employee starting next week 🥺🥺🥺

Here’s me with a fridge, coffee machine and whiteboard - Will keep you updated, there’s LOTS of work to do because it’s currently looking very plain and not very me right now.

Here’s a really interesting message I got on an Instagram sticker yesterday when talking about leadership struggles…

But here’s the thing

Communication in leadership isn’t just about how many words you say and how much value those words hold

The greatest leaders don’t speak the loudest

Leadership is about actively listening, deeply, to truly understand our teams struggles and fears

It’s about asking more questions than you answer

It’s about ensuring your word is sacred… By saying ‘no’ to certain projects and tasks, so you don’t overwhelm yourself and let people down

Hold your power in being the person who observes, who speaks the LEAST in meetings and gives their team the space to shine and be creative

I’m keeping this email short, because I want the message to be super clear

This week focus on speaking less and listening more
